ADMINISTRATIVE
Exercise Builder
The webEMIT Exercise Building is intended to provide flexibility to instructors. When you are ready to create, organize, and edit your instructional content, you may explore the ways that work best for you.
Situation/Status page (Text/Movie Page)
The Situation/Status page provides the framework for the Exercise. Use the Situation/Status page to introduce the lesson or reflect the status of participant decisions. To get started, you may provide text, including an introduction, learning objectives, conditions, etc., as well as upload a video (or Image?) which provides an example or a situation that presents a problem for participants to solve. After participants have viewed the Situation/Status page, they will move to the Decision Point page, then the Courses of Action page, and perhaps see a second Situation/Status page which could demonstrate the consequences of their actions and/or introduce a new problem.
Decision Point page
The Decision Point page serves as the framework for the User Experience within the Exercise. The Decision Point Page allows Administrator to define actions (see Courses of Action) and resources (see Add Media Reference) available to participants during the EMIT experience. The Courses of Action and Media References are subsets of the Decision Point Page.
